Update: ICONA Resorts to Welcome Our Guests Back June 1st

Learn More About Our Updated Plan

Updated 5/26/20

ICONA Resorts is delighted to welcome guests back to our properties beginning June 1, 2020. The health, safety, and comfort of our guests and ICONA family has always been a top priority and will continue to be our key focus as we prepare to re-open to the public. We believe water soothes the soul and we’re so pleased to be able to welcome you back to the healing salt-air of Cape May County!

Our goal is to make ICONA a place of warmth, welcome, and love where our guests experience peace and make memories that last a lifetime.

ICONA prides itself on cleanliness and our already world-class cleaning and sanitizing processes have been meticulously reviewed and enhanced to help keep our guests and team members as safe as possible.

Just some updates to our process, ICONA's Protocol Plus, includes:

  • Enhanced training for team members on handwashing, cleanliness and hygiene expectations, and social distancing

  • Monitoring of team member temperatures prior to work shifts

  • Masks will be worn by all team members as required

  • Gloves will be worn by team members entering guest rooms such as housekeepers and maintenance, as well as by back of house team members who work in our kitchens and those doing room deliveries. Additional team members may wear gloves if they choose and those who are not wearing gloves will be consistently reminded of sanitizing and handwashing best practices.

  • Guests are encouraged to follow guidelines and wear masks throughout indoor public areas including the lobbies, hallways, and restaurants

  • Plexiglass separation at our front desks

  • Signage and friendly reminders from our team members that all guests should maintain a 6’ distance from fellow guests and team members

  • Touchless hand sanitizer dispensers will be available for guests and team members throughout ICONA properties, restaurants, and pools

  • Electrostatic sanitizing guns and increased cleaning and sanitizing for all high trafficked areas

  • New and improved EPA registered cleaners and disinfectants known to kill 99.99% of bacteria and viruses

  • Mini hand sanitizer will be added to in-room guest amenities with extras available for purchase

  • New and enhanced processes for sanitation and social distancing for chairs and  umbrellas at the pool and beach, as well as exterior and interior dining areas
