Meet Our Director, Jack

Jack Moore is the founder and director of LIFEGUARD SURF CAMPS at our Wildwood Crest, NJ, hotel. Jack has been surfing for decades and started the Surf Camps to add a fun family friendly amenity for ICONA guests.

Jack has been a professional and certified ocean lifeguard since 1978 on the beaches of Wildwood Crest and Diamond Beach. He is certified in CPR, first aid, backboarding and open water rescue. He is also a 25 year Health and Physical Education teacher who has coached 3 varsity sports throughout those years.

The ocean, sports and teaching have always been Jack’s passions. Teaching skills and mechanics of surfing is a natural thing. Jack's enthusiasm for surfing in NJ makes learning fun for those of all ages and skill levels. All of his surfers WILL succeed and do stand up during their surf lessons in Diamond Beach, NJ.
